it just stopped picking up the GPS signal from the USB port. I feel fairly certain that this is not a Delorme SW issue since I did not make any changes to the program. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Delorme Street Atlas SW and still no luck. List when the GPS is inserted and removed, so I am fairly certain it is recognizing the GPS. The COM & LPT port appears and disappears on the device When I open the COM & LPT port under Device Manager it shows a "USB Serial Controller D and when I try to update the driver it says I have the latest driver and it says it is a "Microsoft USB GPS". All The campsites from RV Directions 2011 totally obliterate the USA map from DeLorme. It hooks up just fine, so I know the GPS is working. I am still using DeLorme 'Street Atlas USA 2015 Plus' along with an XData Dataset called RV Directions 2011.Because of its age, I supplement it with a Garmen NUVI for local city traffic or use it in our towed vehicle. When I move the GPS over to a Windows 7 computer running Streets and Trips I loaded another program, Mapfactor, that uses realtime GPS tracking and it will not hook up with the Microsoft GPS either. Update, the Delorme SW now says a GPS is not connected. As of about 3 weeks ago, about the time of the latest Windows The Microsoft Pharos GPS-500 USB external GPS fed GPS position to the Delorme software without issues. I have been using Delorme Street Atlas with my Windows 10 Dell laptop for over a year.
